Summer Newsletter 2019

Dear Friends,

I hope everyone is having a good summer so far and that you have all been well these past 5 years.

I would like to formally inform those who have supported me, before my brief hiatus, of the reason for such action.

I was blessed with my 3rd child, a son born at the end of 2013, whilst this opened a beautiful new chapter in my life, this happiness did not transcend untouched. My husband was tragically diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and then passed away in the beginning of 2016.

This impacted me and my family heavily, which is why I had closed myself off from the rest of the world and took a hiatus in my work.

But, luckily, I have been slowly getting better with many people’s support, who I thank dearly, and am confident and full of new inspiration for the rebirth of myself as an artist.

I have already created new sculptures and have no plans to stop doing what I love.

On that note, I would like to announce that I will be participating in a couple events this year.

The first one is the ‘Bird of Joy’ festival which will be occurring in La Rochelle in France, from 29th August till 15th September, I’ll be making sculptures out of clay during that period and at the end, the other artists participating and I will bake altogether our sculptures during the ‘Fiery Bird’ performance in a big fire, which will surely be an unique sight. Please come visit at any point, any support would be deeply appreciated and I hope those that do attend, enjoy the eccentric festival.

And secondly, I’ll also be participating in Brighton Made, which, this year, will be help in Lewes, United Kingdom. This will be from 29th November till 1st December, so I will be updating you, my dear friends, with more information in my next letter.

If you would like to join me at any of these events, please let me know by responding to this email.

I would also like to thank everyone who supported me at the ‘Summer Club the World Magazine’ in Cap D’ail, France on the 10th August, when I had presented some of my new works at the event.

For now this all, I hope that I can rise from the ashes of my former self, to once again fly like a phoenix.

Warmest Wishes,

Sveta
