Dear Friends,

It is almost Summer and I would like to wish you all a wonderful summer, full of joy and new discoveries.

I have recently experienced a world quite new to me - Hong Kong. There they discovered my photo-project Carnal World'. It was the first occasion for my photo-works from this 'Meat' series to be shown some of which are seven years old.

At present I am quite inspired by being in residence at the Cite Internationale des Arts de Paris; so inspired that I totally missed the French Presidential Elion. Not surprising perhaps? However,I am grateful to the Cite for giving me this wonderful opportunity to create art in the heart of Paris. I am planning to spend the next two months working on my new project. If you are passing this way please, do come along and share with me some of these magic moments; and perhaps a glass of divine French wine while strolling by the Seine.

I would like to draw this letter to a close with some more of this month's news: in May my bronze sculpture 'Peacock Feathers with Fruit' (this is gradually becoming my iconic image) will be auctioned at Sotheby's on 22nd May.
